biography
Canzel formed on the auspicious date of July 7, 2007 and had their first live on November 18 at Takadanobaba AREA. The line-up, so far unchanged since their formation, is vocalist Icchi, guitarists Shiina Mio and Rui, Haku on bass and Yukimi on drums.

In March of 2008 they released their first maxi-single, FiRST STEPS E.P.. Fans had only a short time to wait for the next release, as only four months later they had another single out, NeXT SEASONS E.P., which reached 16th on the Oricon indies chart. Gaining popularity from their performances around the Kantou area, when Canzel held a oneman at Meguro Rock May Kan in August it sold out several days in advance. In November they also sold out their One Year Anniversary live, NEW WINDOWS at Takadanobaba AREA, where they'd performed their first live. Its corresponding single, NeW WINDOWS E.P., was released, limited to 500 copies.

2009 is proving to be a promising year for the young band as well. Starting in January, the band sponsored two months of live events mostly in the Tokyo area. Their first countrywide maxi-single release, TwINKLE SUNLIGHT E.P., was released on February 4, 2009 and reached 5th place on the Oricon indies weekly chart, their highest ranking yet. On April 19 they held a oneman to celebrate their fourth maxi-single, FuTURES WORLD E.P..

Biografía

El grupo Oshare Canzel, es bastante reciente ya que se formó en el 2007. Su música es alegre y divertida como su estilo, y llena de optimismo y energía.

Canzel se formó el 7 de Julio de 2007, y tuvieron su primer live el 18 de Noviembre del mismo año en el área de Takadanobaba. Sus miembros que siguen siendo los mismos desde el inicio de la banda son: Icchi (vocalista), Mio (Guitarrista), Ruri (Guitarrista), Haku (Bajista) y Yuki en la batería.

En Marzo de 2008, lanzaron su primer maxi-single: First Steps. Los fans sólo tuvieron que esperar unos pocos meses hasta que saliera a la venta un nuevo EP: Next Season, que alcanzó el puesto decimosexto en los ránkings de Oricon.
Ganaron cierta popularidad por sus actuaciones en la región de Kanto. Cuando tuvieron su primer oneman en el Meguro Rock, en agosto, vendiendo todas las entradas varios días antes del festival. En Noviembre, vendieron todos los dvds con el live: One Year Anniversary. Su single correspondiente, New Windows, fue lanzado al mercado en una edición limitada.

2009 se ha presentado como un año próspero para este reciente grupo. En enero, la banda patrocinó durante dos meses los conciertos del area de Tokio. Su primer maxi-single, que salió a la venta en todo el país, Twinkle Sunlight fue publicado el 4 de Febrero, alcanzando el quinto puesto en las listas de Oricon, manteniendo una posición elevada aún. El 19 de Abril tuvieron un oneman para celebrar la salida a la venta de su cuarto maxi-single: Futures World.
